The kindiest chinese restaurant I've ever been! Food was also nice and price was also resonable at the lunch time! Xiexie!

Price is bit high but the quality of the food matched. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Very good and authentic Chinese restaurant. We were here with a Chinese colleague and he enjoyed it. I arrived late and the owner of the restaurant was very attentive and reheated the shared dishes and took really good care of us.

Absolutely LOVED this place! The servers were so helpful and wonderful. They helped us figure out some dishes for picky kids. Everyone left full and delighted. Thank you!

Very tasty food made with quality ingredients. Service was great, my favourite was the hot and sour soup. Probably the best I've had in a while.

I really enjoyed my supper at Mr. Ma. We had the duck, some shrimp, mushrooms, vegetables and chicken fried rice. Nice restaurant and nice staff. A tour group came in about half hour into our meal but still got served quickly. Even our large group the server were quick. And for dessert a watermelon, strawberries and a fortune cookie.

Absolutely unbelievably delicious Chinese food. I was devastated when Mr. Ma closed but the owners resurrected the kitchen and all its wonders at this location. You will leave happy and full!

Service was excellent! Food was phenomenal. Very fresh, very tasty. The special for two for $60.00 was perfect in every way. The bean sprout salad was a great start, dumplings were delicious, the soup very fresh tasting, our main course sesame beef and lemon chicken was perfect just the right amount of sauce and breading. The service was so attentive and the food so wonderful that it made this one of the best dining experiences we have had while vacationing in Montreal!

I am not a big fan of Chinese but that was pretty good actually!Need towork on the decors of the restaurant. This is Old Montreal and we must step up!

Same great taste and excellent service if you have experienced Mr MA at Place Ville-Marie. It is actually the same owner.It is worth the detour wether you are on vacation or in Montreal for business. The restaurant is in Old Montreal and on 2 floors, so you don’t feel all cramped up. A nice varied selection on the menu and the food is awesome!I have been there for years and will keep going back.

I had the best Szechuan style Chinese food in my life here. It has right amount of spices and fresh ingredients. Also the best general Tao chicken!! You must try!!

Quite nice. Very cozy and quiet. There were several patrons however the atmosphere was calm and the staff were quite inviting. I had the corn and Crabmeat soup, prawns and whiskey sour to drink. Would return to try several other menu options.

I was here last week and returning again tgis week. Very excellent food in a nice, refined atmosphere. The best Peking Duck ever! Must be ordered in advance. Honied shrimp also divine. Love this restaurant. Unlike every other Chinese restaurant I’ve been to both here and in the US.

Nice Chinese restaurant in the heart of Old Montreal. If you are in the mood for some authentic Chinese eats without the noisy atmosphere that you get from surrounding restaurants, this is the place for you. Unlike most Chinatown places, I think this restaurant is great for dates and business lunches.

Mouth watering meal...amazing service...high end yet unpretentious...very welcoming owners...loved the place and definitely going back with the family.

The General Tao Chicken tastes authentic. It is a well-cooked dish from choice portions. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.Additionally, the service is great. The staff is meticulous and polite. The ambiance is also wonderful. I definitely felt at home.

Everything we ordered was exceptionally well prepared. Music setting and illumination was perfect and enabled us to have a wonderful evening. We will definitely come back to enjoy this amazing place soon.

Decent Szechuan food in a very cosy atmosphere. Wonderful staff, great service, and they speak at least 3 languages (Chinese, English, and French). Would be nice if the food was a lighter and had more vegetable options.

Wow! What a gem! I'm Chinese and this is the best Szechuan restaurant by far in my life. The food are perfectly prepared, with very authentic and delicate taste. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The restroom is spotless (cleaner than a 4-star hotel room). The price is slightly higher, but the food and dinning experience you get definitely worth every penny.
